I feel like I've fallen off the wagon a little bit with my diet, and my training hasn't been as brilliant as usual. So in order to give myself a bit of a kick up the backside, I started thinking about some goals to set myself. Then I remembered seeing the twins from Pure 2 Raw, one of my favourite health and fitness blogs posting a video showing how they hold a 5 minute plank. See it here:
I love holding plank position, but I'll be honest, I struggle. I find just a 30 second hold quite tough. But I love the shake I get in my abs and knowing they're working hard. I know that with some work, and plenty of determination, I can work up to a 5 min hold, easy!
So, my goal is that I'll be able to hold the plank, in perfect form, for a full 5 minutes by the end of the month. Why not join me? Or set yourself a new goal. Nothing like lighting up your fitness regime with new goals every now and then to get you fired up.
